Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role this 26/27 school year, supporting students in an all-special-education campus setting. As a dedicated paraprofessional, you will play a key part in assisting learners with higher needs, making a meaningful difference each day in their development and success.
This full-time contract position follows a Monday through Friday schedule. Multiple caseloads are offered, covering elementary, middle, and high school age groups, with the possibility of adult transition assignments. Please indicate your preferred age group to help us match you with the most fulfilling opportunity.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional, especially within school settings
- Comfortable assisting students with higher needs or in special education
- Active Pennsylvania clearances required
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Willingness to commute on-site for interviews and daily work
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting instructional and behavioral programs under the guidance of special education teachers
- Assisting students during classroom activities and transitions throughout the school day
- Implementing individual educational and behavioral plans
- Encouraging and empowering students to participate, grow, and reach their potential
- Building positive relationships that foster trust and confidence
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
