Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or in a similar school-based support role preferred
• Familiarity with classroom management and individual student support (1:1)
• Ability to assist students with a range of needs, including those in special education and general education settings
• Team-oriented attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed
• Adaptability and a positive approach to collaborating with teachers and staff
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant associate’s degree or certification a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct or 1:1 assistance to students under the guidance of teaching staff
• Support classroom instruction, reinforce lessons, and encourage student engagement
• Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
• Help with classroom organization, materials preparation, and daily routines
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents as needed
