El objetivo de el/la Trabajador/a Social es fomentar un ambiente que provea experiencias de interacción social y convivencia humana conducentes a una mejor calidad de vida en nuestras comunidades. Ayudar a las personas a desarrollar un sentido de responsabilidad y pertenencia a su comunidad, ayudándoles a organizarse y brindándoles herramientas para trabajar en su propio beneficio. Animar a los residentes a mantener las facilidades y prevenir que situaciones sociales afecten el funcionamiento de ésta. Requerimientos mínimos: Bachillerato en Trabajo Social completado. Licencia de Trabajador Social expedida por la Junta Examinadora de Trabajadores Sociales de Puerto Rico (Licencia Provisional o Permanente). Miembro del Colegio de Profesionales del Trabajo Social de Puerto Rico. Mínimo un año de experiencia. Experiencia trabajando con familias y agencias reguladoras. Conocimiento de técnicas de investigación de campo. Capaz de trabajar de forma independiente, tener una sólida ética de trabajo y poseer excelentes. Habilidades escritas y verbales (tanto en inglés como en español). Capacidad para entrevistar, brindar asesoramiento y recopilar informes. Debe tener excelentes habilidades interpersonales con el personal y el público en general. Conocimientos en computadora, especialmente Microsoft Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr TPIS
