Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – Perm Full-Time Position in Carrollton, GA

Tanner Medical Center, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to become a vital part of our dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, state-of-the-art hospital environment alongside a collaborative team of neonatologists and healthcare professionals, serving a vibrant community with approximately 1,000 births annually.

Position Overview:

• Location: Carrollton, GA (705 Dixie Street, 30117)
• Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts including 16- and 24-hour coverage
• Residency Requirement: Must reside within the immediate local area; relocation assistance may be provided
• No Benefits for Locum or Visa Candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert neonatal care within a Level III NICU featuring 10 beds, managing complex and high-acuity neonatal cases.
• Support and oversee care in a busy 20-bed newborn nursery, offering daily NNP coverage.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans for vulnerable newborns.
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
• Manage patient care from admission through stabilization and discharge, emphasizing family-centered and evidence-based practices.
• Participate actively in a structured scheduling system, including overnight and extended shifts, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical standards to enhance neonatal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification.
• Minimum of [X] years of relevant neonatal care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
