Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (HS Clin, In-Res, Adjunct, Clin X) Pediatric Gastroenterology Position Overview Position title: Pediatric Gastroenterology Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and, if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $200,000-$366,300. Salary is negotiated annually. Position Description The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California in San Diego (UCSD) is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body and is currently in an exciting period of growth and expansion. We are seeking Pediatric Gastroenterologists with a focus on Neurogastroenterology & Motility (NGM) to join our Division within UCSD and Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego (RCHSD). We are committed to building a neurogastrointestinal and motility disorders program for children and adolescents, advancing clinical care, and improving outcomes for children with eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders. Rady Children’s Hospital is the largest Children’s Hospital in California, and pediatric gastroenterology services are provided through the faculty of the Department of Pediatrics, University of California, San Diego. The successful candidates will join our GI practice of 23 attending faculty and 7 advanced practice providers with 6 ACGME pediatric gastroenterology fellows. The successful candidates will contribute to the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology’s mission of delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient care and performing procedures. The successful candidates will also supervise, mentor, and teach pediatric residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and academic activities. In addition, the successful candidates will actively participate in scholarly and research endeavors, contributing to the department’s academic mission. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience. Eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
