Our client, a leading organization in building management and operational services, is seeking a dedicated Operations Specialist to join their team. As an Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Management Department supporting building operations and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, a positive attitude, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Malvern, PA

Pay Range: $31-$34/hr

Shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 10-hour shifts from 1:30 pm to 12:00 am

What's the Job?

• Monitor and manage critical alarms related to building mechanical infrastructure, fire, and life safety systems through Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Conduct proactive virtual tours of facility systems to verify proper operation and maintain knowledge of BAS functionality.
• Track, escalate, and communicate incidents that could disrupt business operations using established protocols and communication channels.
• Support and coordinate building shutdown activities via BAS, ensuring timely stakeholder notifications and proper approvals for vendor work.
• Prepare, maintain, and issue detailed shift reports to ensure seamless communication across operational teams.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; coursework or degree in a technology-related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a good understanding of computer systems and software applications.
• Ability to analyze system operations, identify malfunctions, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer service-oriented mindset.
