Production Kitting Lead

Position Title: Production Kitting Lead Location: Mt Juliet - Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED is required. Two or more years of warehouse, logistics, kitting, or material-handling experience is preferred. Previous experience leading, training, or coordinating employees is preferred. Knowledge of JDE or a similar computerized inventory system is preferred. Knowledge of BarTender or similar label printing software preferred. Knowledge of kanban, production supermarkets, line-side replenishment, and Lean Manufacturing is preferred. Forklift certification or the ability to become forklift certified is required. Ability to read and comprehend work orders, pick lists, work instructions, diagrams, policies, procedures, and safety documentation in English. Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, and percent calculations. Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and practical problem-solving skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime as required. COMPETENCIES: Analytical Thinking – Approaching a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Static Strength -- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds. Multilimbed Coordination — The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion. Trunk Strength — The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing. Control Precision — The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions. Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
