Desktop Support Specialist - Expert Level

Job ID: 814466 Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – No Remote/Hybrid Job Type: 12-Month Contract Duration: November 2, 2026 – October 29, 2027 Pay Rate: $50/hour W-2 Interview: Webcam or In-Person Travel: Required Job Description We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist (Expert Level) with 7+ years of hands-on technical support experience for a 12-month contract opportunity in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in desktop troubleshooting, computer imaging, hardware/software installation, ServiceNow ticketing, network printers, and user profile migration. This position requires 100% onsite work and travel as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced desktop, hardware, software, mobile device, and peripheral support. Install, configure, image, and deploy computers and software. Install and troubleshoot local/network printers and scanners. Migrate and protect user data and profiles during computer replacements. Manage incidents, service requests, and technical issues using ServiceNow. Support Active Directory, email, Citrix, and user account administration. Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and network support teams. Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures. Follow IT security policies and provide excellent customer service. Assist with technical projects and mentor team members. Required Qualifications 7+ years: Computer hardware, mobile devices, software, peripherals, and networking. 7+ years: Computer installation, imaging, configuration, and software deployment. 7+ years: Local/network printer and peripheral installation. 7+ years: User data and profile migration. 7+ years: Technical support process and procedure documentation. 7+ years: Hands-on ServiceNow ticketing/call tracking experience. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work onsite in Raleigh, NC and travel as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr GN Resources Inc.
