The Role Moss Consulting is looking for an HR Manager in [Market City, State] who is ready to own the HR function for the growing group of business owners we support. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes initiative, operates with integrity, and is equally comfortable in the details and in the room with ownership. What You’ll Do Own all major HR functions end-to-end for our assigned client businesses — payroll, benefits administration, conflict resolution, leadership support, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and more Manage complex employee relations matters from intake to resolution Own the compliance calendar for assigned clients: I-9, FLSA, EEO-1, ACA, and applicable state requirements Evaluate the overall health of HR at each client — identifying gaps and presenting findings to leadership Lead open enrollment and performance review cycles Partner directly with client ownership-level leadership — including the hard conversations Support client businesses in running effective people operations Compensation $37.50/hr to start, progressing to $50.00/hr across the first year Quarterly revenue share on work you manage Additional revenue share for any business you originate — no expectation; we simply believe in rewarding our team when they help us grow What We’re Looking For PHR or SHRM-CP certification Proven experience managing complex employee relations independently Full competency in HR compliance auditing Comfortable partnering with and advising ownership — including delivering difficult news and pushing back when it matters Reliable, a strong contributor, and someone peers count on to move work forward Genuine interest in developing others, not just managing tasks Experience with EOS is a significant plus — we run on EOS and support EOS-operating businesses, so familiarity with the framework will accelerate your impact here.
