Receiving Coordinator

We are a broadline distributor with a cash n carry operation delivering quality food, service and custom solutions to foodservice operators and restaurants throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut markets. We are seeking a reliable and organized Receiving Coordinator to coordinate the receiving of incoming products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurancy of the deliveries, products are properly documented and inventory is handled efficiently. Responsibilities Coordinate the daily receiving of incoming merchandise/deliveries Ensure receiving paperwork is accurate and properly process. Report promptly any shortages, damages or discrepancies. Coordinate with purchasing, transportation, warehouse and any other departments regarding incoming shipments. Qualification's High School Diploma Experience in recceiving, inventory control or warehousing Ability to work independently as well as with a team Good communication and problem -solving skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse system.
