IT Operations SpecialistWe're looking for a hands-on IT Operations Specialist to support our Technical Operations (TechOps) function within a real-time Fusion Center environment in Foster City, CA. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and documentation skills with practical experience in systems, networking, and operations workflows. This role is fully on-site in a secure facility and plays a key part in capturing and improving the technical backbone of live operations.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong technical documentation and analytical capabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrior hands-on experience in at least two of the following: Windows workstation supportReal-time operations or command-center environmentsTCP/IP networking or systems administrationWeb application or infrastructure troubleshootingPrior work experience at client or in client's IndustryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience in NOC/SOC/Operations Center or equivalent 24x7 support environmentFamiliarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platformsComfortable collaborating with DevOps / Infrastructure teams7 years of relevant technical experienceDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Shadowing and documenting live operational workflows, dependencies, and system interactionsMapping technical processes and identifying bottlenecks or inefficienciesCoordinating with cross-functional teams (Ops, DevOps, Infrastructure, Engineering) to streamline workflowsDrafting clear process documentation and improvement recommendationsCommunicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
