Bachman’s Nursery Wholesale has an opening for a Nursery Yard Worker on our Outside Sales Support team member who has strong organizational skills, and is knowledgeable with perennial plant materials. POSITION DUTIES: Provide on‑site customer service to customers including but not limited to pulling product, reserving product for future orders, loading product, and giving directions. Monitor plant quality as orders are filled. Assist in other areas as needed in order to meet deadlines. Be a partner on managing, organizing, and communicating customer needs to personnel across the company. Provide customer service and direction to on‑site customers, vendors, and other traffic when necessary to ensure a positive experience for staff and customers alike. QUALIFICATIONS: Good working knowledge of landscape plant materials required. Basic knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. Good communication and customer service skills required. Must have good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team player. Very detailed oriented. Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot. Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment. Interest in product and desire to learn more. Ability to work predominantly outside in all weather conditions. A Motor Vehicle Record check will be conducted on all final candidates.
