We work on exploring new innovations to improve the voice input experience for customers around the world in the many languages they speak. Daily duties will include working with multi-functional teams to drive Voice Input features to support new initiatives, developing UI and framework improvements to support existing and new features, shipping high-quality software, being responsive to emerging issues, as well as helping develop a vision for the future of the productMinimum QualificationsM.S./B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience5+ years UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C software engineering experienceExperience developing software for macOS using AppKit and SwiftUISystem programming experience with daemons, frameworks, multithreading, and IPC (XPC).Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work in a diverse groupHighly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedulesPreferred QualificationsTrack record of developing products with a focus on delivering an exceptional user experience.Experience working on large, cross-functional, and multi-team projects.Experience with voice assistant technologies, GenAI, or conversational AI systemsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
