WHAT YOU'LL DO :

As our I.T. QA Automation Engineer, you will be in an exciting role that plans, creates, and manages the overall software quality planning for the Pape' Group of companies. Every day, you will succeed by:

• Driving innovation and streamlining overall testing processes of APIs and Web applications
• Creating manual and automated tests to identify software problems and validate workflows
• Driving functional, performance, usability, and cross-browser / cross-device testing methods
• Collaborating with software developers to configure, add to and evolve CI/CD testing tool
• Performing manual and automated tests for software application releases and bug fix releases
• Researching and analyzing product features being tested
• Reviewing user interfaces for consistency, functionality, and performance
• Analyzing bugs and errors found during tests
• Documenting results of tests for the software development team and product stakeholders
• Recommending solutions and improvements in software to enhance the user experience
• Influencing the development process for efficiency and performance
• Collaborating with the software developers to enhance and improve programs
• Collecting quality data; identifying key KPIs for product quality; presenting metrics
• Researching and comparing similar competitors' products
• Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and advancements in QA

To be successful in this position, you will need to be analytical, love creating processes that improve business functions, and have an understanding of the processes and workflows in the business, including the cause and effects of all major transactions.

Remote and/or hybrid work opportunities are negotiable for this position but candidates must reside in one of the following states: Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, or Texas.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in manual and automated software testing and/or development
• Critical thinker with problem solving skills
• Good time management skills
• High productivity and the ability to collaborate in a remote working environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, .Net Core, C#
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Team player
• Able to work efficiently and collaborate with minimal supervision

Additional Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related job experience
• Experience with Telerik Test Studio or similar automated testing IDE
• Experience creating Pipelines and Test Plans in Azure DevOps

Compensation: $85,000-$105,000/yr (Depending on Experience)
