Desktop Support Technician
$22 - $25 per hourInsight Global
Job Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician II to provide Tier 2 hardware and software support. This person will troubleshoot complex technical issues, serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk, support end users across multiple locations, and help deploy and maintain company devices. The pay rate for this role is $22-25hr depending on years of experience.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, VPN, printer, and mobile device issues
Serve as an escalation point for Service Desk technicians
Image, configure, deploy, and support laptops, desktops, tablets, and thin clients
Support employee onboarding, account setup, and hardware deployment
Maintain accurate ticket updates, technical documentation, and asset inventory
Assist with technology projects, system outages, and a 24/7 on-call rotation

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience in help desk, technical support, or desktop support
Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, networking, printers, file sharing, Citrix, and VDI
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
Experience with Active Directory, Jira Service Management, SCCM, AirWatch, TeamViewer, iGel OS, or UMS is a plus
CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, or similar certification is preferred
Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds
$20 - $22 per hour
