Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized assessments and observational methods.

Create tailored treatment plans that address both immediate and long-term goals regarding communication, cognitive function, and swallowing.

Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on language skills, communication effectiveness, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.

Work collaboratively with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to develop cohesive and effective treatment strategies.

Empower patients and families with educational resources to promote progress beyond clinical appointments.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care as patients journey through treatment.

Maintain clear, accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations and institutional policies.

Stay at the forefront of the profession by engaging in ongoing education and collaborative discussions with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized and accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still in the process of ASHA certification.

Active state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Strong background in evidence-based treatment methodologies for diverse age groups, with comprehensive knowledge of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capability to tailor therapy methods to meet the varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds of individuals.

Sound clinical decision-making abilities paired with proactive problem-solving skills.

Comfortable with electronic health records and documentation practices.
