Job Description:
We are seeking a Pediatric CVOR Tech for Surgical Services to join our team. Candidates must have a NBSTA certification in hand to be eligible for submission. First-time travelers are accepted. The position involves working in a labor and delivery unit with typical OB cases such as Cesarean sections, Dilation and Curettage, Dilation and Evacuation, Tubal Ligation, and Cerclage. High-risk non-OB cases may include Accreta/Chyst, laparoscopic ectopic, and cystoscopy. The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, proficiency with sterilization, scrubbing, HLD, aseptic technique, and certification in BLS and NBSTSA. Skills in decontamination, crash cart management, and scope/probe reprocessing are preferred.
Shift requirements include a 3x12 schedule with call required, and blocked scheduling options are available. No floating is required. Candidates must adhere to certification requirements and demonstrate experience with high-level disinfection procedures.
