Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby / Pediatric
Location: Rutherfordton, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend hours are required every 3rd weekend.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Women's Services team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby care, Pediatric, and Gynecology. This position involves providing comprehensive and compassionate care in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns.
- Conduct assessments and develop individual care plans.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health and respond to emergency situations.
- Support mothers during postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery with charge experience required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, AWHON, and fetal monitoring.
