CONCESSIONS SUPERVISOR

Levy Sector Pay Range : $19.00 to $21.00 Job Summary The Concessions Supervisor at Grand Casino Arena is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Supervisor manages 3-4 concession stands during events, oversees the initial set-up of products, ensures timely delivery of food, and follows strict food and safety guidelines. The supervisor also executes area set‑up and breakdown and manages post‑event inventory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meet with directors before the event to review details. Supervise staff during check‑ins and breakdowns for the zones they cover (3-4 zones). Ensure all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event. Be knowledgeable about all menu offerings. Establish rapport with guests and apply suggestive and upselling techniques. Determine where guests would like to eat and help them get situated. Complete all event set‑up and breakdown responsibilities within the provided timelines. Perform post‑event product inventory and restock as needed. Create, modify, and close sales checks in the point of sale system. Understand all event paperwork and reports. Adhere to location appearance guidelines. Supervise and complete the open and closing stand sheets. Maintain service areas. Employ good safety and sanitation practices. Follow responsible alcohol service policies. Stand for long periods of time and actively engage guests. Move, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required. React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. Demonstrate physical stamina and agility to stay mobile for long periods. Lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. Move easily from sitting to standing position. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in foodservice or hospitality, particularly in concessions. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should be able to interact with high‑profile guests, remain professional, and provide an exceptional experience. Proficiency in speaking and comprehending English, the ability to problem‑solve, and make decisions with little guidance are required.
