- Deliver personalized speech therapy concentrated on various aspects such as language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing mechanics.
- Work collaboratively with a versatile healthcare team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Encourage patient and family involvement in therapy, equipping them with strategies to continue progress beyond the clinical environment.
- Conduct occasional evaluations and interventions in inpatient settings, assuring a seamless continuum of care.
- Maintain precise patient records adhering to state, federal, and facility protocols.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and education to stay ahead in the field's evolving practices.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be achieved within 30 days of starting employment.
- Expertise in evidence-based methods for treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders for all age groups.
- Outstanding communication skills to connect with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
