- Infrastructure: AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SNS, IAM (policies), and EC2 management (troubleshooting, AMI configurations).
- Deployment: Deep proficiency with client's internal "CloudBlocks" (wrapper over CloudFormation).
- Programming: Python (for Lambda functions).
- Strategic Responsibility: Act as the lead authority for resolving infrastructure-level impediments, encompassing cross-account access, S3 governance, and the continuous maintenance of event-driven architectures.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud development.
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting AWS infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of event models and serverless architecture.
- Experience with GitHub Actions for deployment automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
- Experience developing cloud-native microservices and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Asset Management, or FinTech.
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Familiarity with AI/ML integrations using Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker.
- Knowledge of event streaming technologies such as Kafka or Amazon MSK.
- Experience implementing secure coding practices and cloud security controls.
