The Power Plant Operator monitors, inspects, and maintains secondary plant equipment-such as turbines, pumps, fans, compressors, and boilers-to support primary operations in our power plant. You'll troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with startups/shutdowns, requiring high attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Continuously check gauges, panels, and equipment for proper operation, adjusting controls for optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and report or repair malfunctioning equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, to prevent accidents.
- Assist control room operators with startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
- Log operational data and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Be at least 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's license
- 2+ years of experience in a power plant with any gas turbine or boiler experience a plus
