Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule
Night Shift: 3 x 12s, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements
- Current RN license in state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
- At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing interventions in stable and emergent patient situations.
- Competent in routine nursing skills including medication administration, intravenous therapy, and safe use of medical equipment.
- Address age-related physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs of patients, including those with disabilities.
- Initiate and collaborate on multidisciplinary, goal-oriented care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding care, employing appropriate teaching methods.
- Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary personnel based on individual competency and scope of practice.
