Job Description
Title: Nursing - Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 per week

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Knowledge of age-related physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs
- Ability to perform care planning and monitor vital signs
- Understanding of medication dosages and physiological changes
- Skills in addressing psychosocial needs

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical unit, focusing on adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status, making necessary updates to care plans.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure safe dosage practices.
- Delegate tasks and supervise ancillary personnel in accordance with their scope of practice.
