Registered Nurse, Med Surg — Templeton, California, United States. Start date 08/03/2026. 13-week travel assignment. $1,956–$2,096 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on the medical/surgical unit, aligning with age-specific needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications, including intravenous therapy and blood products.
- Manage indwelling catheters and drains; support care of acute post-op wounds; maintain sterile technique for procedures.
- Initiate and revise multidisciplinary, goal-oriented care plans in collaboration with the health care team; coordinate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning; ensure learning needs are met and documented.
- Delegate appropriately to certified nursing assistants and other staff within scope of practice; evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.

Requirements
- Licensure: Current RN license in California (state of practice)
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent med/surg or equivalent nursing experience; med/surg floor experience preferred
- Additional: Ability to work night shift; comfortable delivering care in a short-term acute care hospital setting
