TITLE
Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

SCHEDULE
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
Contract Weeks: 13

REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent: Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
- Current RN license in state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
- At least two years recent experience in field: Required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide appropriate nursing interventions for stable and emergent patient situations.
- Administer medications and perform intravenous therapy, including blood products.
- Ensure care and maintenance of indwelling catheters and drains.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.
- Initiate multidisciplinary, goal-oriented care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary personnel based on individual competency and scope of practice.
