Position Overview A growing Minnesota-based printing and packaging company is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive new business growth. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on developing new accounts, building long-term relationships, and expanding market share within the folding carton and commercial print industries. The successful candidate will bring an established network of customers and a proven track record of generating significant annual sales revenue. This position focuses heavily on new business development while also maintaining and growing key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout targeted markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with brand owners, packaging buyers, and commercial print customers.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account growth.
- Work closely with estimating, customer service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategic sales plans to expand market share.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and consistently achieve sales goals.
- Previous sales experience within folding cartons, packaging, offset printing, or commercial print .
- Demonstrated success selling cartons, POP displays, packaging, or related printed products.
- Existing book of business and customer relationships.
- Proven ability to generate and manage $1M+ in annual sales revenue .
- Strong understanding of offset printing and packaging manufacturing processes.
- Experience selling into consumer products, retail packaging, or commercial print markets is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for winning new business.
- Hunter mentality with a strong drive for new business development.
- Ability to open doors and build lasting customer relationships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented approach and commitment to customer success.

Ideal Candidate: Someone currently selling folding cartons, commercial print, packaging, or POP products with established relationships and a history of producing $1M+ in annual revenue , who enjoys hunting for new business and building long-term partnerships. $80,000 - $100,000 a year We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
