Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant to assist with the Sexual Health Clinic in Seattle, WA.
Job Details:- Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p
- Hiring ASAP
- TEMPORARY, through end of year
- Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records
- Perform injections
- Prepare and clean exam rooms
- Submit medication prior authorizations
- Recognize symptoms of common medical illnesses and accurately report to provider
- Act as a liaison between patient, patient's family and providers
- Assist provider with procedures and medical exams
- Perform point of care testing and report abnormal laboratory values
- Assist in transporting patients as required
- Licensed as a Certified Medical Assistant with the State of Washington
- Two years' experience in health care, experience administering vaccines
- BLS and Negative TB
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and other staff.
