As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Westfield, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and security-related requirements.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
