Dining Services - Part-Time Day Dishwasher

The Lutheran Home is seeking a reliable Part-Time Day Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while supporting the daily operations of our healthcare community. • Wash dishes, flatware, pots/pans by hand or dishwasher
• Store away cooking equipment, utensils, and dishes in the designated storage areas
• Clean and sanitize tables and work surfaces
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in the designated pickup area
• Help to keep the kitchen area clean and in safe working condition
• Sweep or mop floors
• Perform necessary tasks to help us meet the needs of our residents specifically their diet and food preferences

• This part-time position typically works three shifts per week, from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Able to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds
• Previous dishwashing or food service experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
