Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift position. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in the industry or a degree equivalent. The role involves planning and performing a range of duties to maintain, service, and repair plant machinery, electrical systems, and facilities. This includes gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform maintenance and repair on plant machinery and facilities.
• Conduct gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, installation plans, and blueprints.
• Test and inspect pumps and associated devices.
• Troubleshoot to determine and trace the cause of problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and service duties, including lubricating machinery.
• Use quality measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and conduct electrical troubleshooting.

• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and interpreting blueprints.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to use quality measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers.

• Experience with PLC systems.
• Ability to work in a dirty environment, comfortable around copper and scrap.
• Experience with both older and newly upgraded equipment.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift position with a unique schedule: work 36 hours one week and 48 the next, with every other weekend working from 5am-5pm. The work environment is industrial, involving dirty work with copper and scrap. It includes two buildings, one with more recently upgraded equipment. The position requires a willingness to work in a hands-on, industrial setting.

The pay range for this position is $79560.00 - $79560.00/yr.
