AI Forward Deployed Engineer

Salary: $156,000 - 174,720 per year Requirements:

• Strong hands-on engineering skills in Python, REST APIs, JSON, and GitHub
• Demonstrated experience developing AI agents, including agentic coding, prompt design, and building testing frameworks for agents
• Solid experience working within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem, such as Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and IAM
• Bachelors degree
• Preferred: deep familiarity with advanced RAG methods, including re-ranking, hybrid search, and context optimization
• Preferred: proven success delivering AI solutions from discovery through production and hypercare
• Preferred: excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems to executives and technical audiences

• Lead customer workshops, ask targeted questions early, document requirements, and build trust from the outset
• Convert business requirements into conversation flows, escalation pathways, and agent capability boundaries while presenting options clearly to stakeholders
• Deliver GECX agents end to end, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, API integrations, and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, while identifying scope risks proactively
• Create automated evaluation frameworks, define acceptance criteria with the customer, and communicate quality status transparently to avoid launch issues
• Orchestrate production rollouts with clear cutover communication and brief executive sponsors ahead of time
• Remain engaged through stabilization, share performance insights, explain incident status in plain language, and train customer teams to manage their GECX agents
