Make a positive impact working one-on-one with students in a supportive educational setting, providing dedicated physical therapy services full-time on-site. This contract position, located near Roy, WA, is designed for professionals who thrive in a collaborative school environment and are ready to bring their expertise and compassion to help students reach their full potential. Candidates interested in travel assignments are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy is required
- Active Physical Therapist license in Washington state
- Experience working in school settings preferred, but all backgrounds are welcomed
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Adaptability and initiative to manage a dynamic school schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one physical therapy interventions to students as prescribed in their individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assess students’ physical abilities, document progress, and adjust therapy as needed
- Partner with educators, caregivers, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate and timely therapy records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and goal-oriented atmosphere for all students
