Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist. You will work 40 hours a week, splitting your time between a K-8 campus and an Early Childhood Learning Center near San Tan Valley, AZ. This engaging opportunity lets you collaborate with educators and families to promote communication skills for students across a wide age range.

Key qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (Arizona state requirements apply)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, or eligibility
• Experience or strong interest in serving K-8 and preschool populations
• Ability to support students with diverse needs, including those who are medically fragile or have moderate to intensive disabilities
• Capable of managing caseloads efficiently while providing individualized attention
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and intervention for students (K-8 caseload of approx. 68 students, including about 15 medically fragile/more intensive needs; Early Childhood Center caseload approx. 65 after redistribution)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement IEPs and develop speech and language goals
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders and recommend strategies
• Track progress and maintain compliant documentation
• Engage in IEP meetings and support families with resources and guidance
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
