Field Applications Specialist - Immunohistochemistry

Field Applications Specialist role at Leica Biosystems supporting immunohistochemistry customers across the Pacific Northwest territory. Provides technical expertise on instrument implementation, workflow optimization, customer training, and applications support to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Service teams to support revenue growth and successful adoption of Leica solutions
- Lead instrument installations, evaluations, validations, and customer onboarding activities
- Provide technical applications support, troubleshooting, and training to improve customer competency
- Investigate and resolve technical issues in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying customer needs and documenting field insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience or Master's degree in related field
- Understanding of histology, immunohistochemistry, pathology, or laboratory marketplace
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and train customers on laboratory workflows
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- HT/HTL certification preferred
- Immunohistochemistry applications and laboratory operations experience preferred
Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 base; $100,000–$115,000 total target compensation including sales incentive
