In this role your contributions will ensure that the employee onboarding team can consistently and quickly provide a high-quality and engaging welcoming experience to SpaceX new hires. Your efforts will also help maximize the employee onboarding team's potential and impact. RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure that new hires have a seamless onboarding experience from the moment they have accepted an offerSchedule and prepare for weekly new hire orientation across all sitesCommunicate with all internal stakeholders regarding the status of new hiresVerify the employment eligibility of all new hiresEvaluate current processes and implement improvements to streamline our onboarding experienceProvide outstanding service to our new hires by responding in a timely manner to their questionsTrack, maintain, and order onboarding supplies as neededWork collaboratively with other team members to actively source new development resources as needed based on requests from fellow team members, the HR team, or people managersPerform other duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree1+ years of professional experience in marketing, human resources, customer service, or an administrative capacityPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience with HR, recruiting, and/or onboardingExperience working daily in applicant tracking and human resources information systems Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasksAbility to learn quickly on the job and work in a dynamic organization with rapidly changing needsHigh level of self-motivation, initiative, and sense of urgency to get things doneExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and OutlookFamiliarity with Greenhouse and Workday a plusADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA areaPosition occasionally requires the ability to work overtime and weekends when neededCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: Level 1: $27.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
