COO - OPS - Institutions OperationsHR Technician I (S)Salary Range: $33,902 - $59,327This position is located at Bertie Correctional Institution in Windsor, NC. Reporting to the Administrative Officer at a multi-level custody male correctional facility with approximately 275 employees.The primary duties of this position will include but are not limited to:Maintain and update employee personnel records and HR databases.Process new-hire, transfer, promotion, leave, and termination paperwork.Assist with onboarding and orientationMaintain confidential employee files and ensure records are properly organized and retainedAssist with benefit enrollment, changes and employee inquiresProcess and maintain documentation related to leave, attendance, accommodations, and other employee mattersAssist employees and supervisors with routine HR questions and requests.This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits.
