Seeking an experienced Insurance Authorization Specialist to support high-volume authorization processing through web-based portals, fax, and phone communication with payers and providers. ills (phone, fax, and email) Job Requirements:
- Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain and process insurance authorizations via web portals, fax, and phone
• Verify coverage and eligibility information as needed
• Communicate with insurance carriers, medical offices, and internal teams to resolve authorization issues
• Track, document, and update authorization status accurately within systems
• Ensure timely follow-up to avoid delays in patient care or billing workflows Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in insurance authorizations (medical or healthcare setting preferred)
• Strong familiarity with payer portals and authorization workflows
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work
• Strong communication skills
