Overview

Seeking a motivated individual with land survey experience.


This individual would be responsible for compiling and computing boundaries from deeds and plats of record, preparing survey base maps from field points and computing survey stakeouts for underground distribution power line routes, easements and device locations.



Responsibilities

• Surveys consist of, boundary, existing conditions, and construction layout
• Operate survey instruments such as robotic total stations, data collectors, GPS, and other standard survey equipment
• Adhere to company safety policies along with use of supplied personal protective equipment, (PPE)
• Interpret construction plans, and perform construction layout
• Ability to work outside up to 100% of the time
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Required to remain standing for extended periods and walk long distances
• Minor maintenance of all field survey equipment
• Act as a positive representative of the company and its core values
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• 3+ years of land surveying experience
• Experience with land record research
• Carlson/AutoCAD experience a plus
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check
• Must pass a drug test

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
