Job Overview The Lactation Clinic Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the Lactation Services throughout LA and OC. Supervises and monitors Lactation Clinic referrals. Updates and manages client files using electronic medical records. Develops the lactation clinic schedule and provides lactation classes. Tracks and monitors patient progress, ensuring data collection and reporting processes are accurate and valid. Manages and tracks referral of clients to necessary support services in the community. Minimum Requirements High School diploma (required); Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Community Programming, Health Administration, Business, or other health-related fields preferred. Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited school preferred. Certified Lactation Educator preferred. Previous experience working with women’s health and with low‑income, at‑risk populations preferred. Valid BLS certification or higher, following AHA or American Red Cross guidelines. Compensation $26.91 – $33.53 hourly. Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
