Overview Do you have experience crafting beautifully decorated cakes and desserts? The Nugget Markets Kitchen, in our Woodland Warehouse, is looking for someone who takes pride in the details and has experience producing a large number of cakes in a production setting to join our talented team of cake decorators. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Responsibilities The Nugget Markets Kitchen cake decorators will be responsible for preparing a high volume of fresh, beautiful, high-quality cakes and desserts that will be delivered to our stores. The duties include applying finishing work to cakes; mixing creams, sauces, fillings and icings; and supporting the production bakery in producing an abundance of products consistently at a high rate of speed all while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. Qualifications You should meet the following requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to read and write in English An eye for color, texture and design with an attention to detail Experience in a retail/production environment producing a large number of cakes/desserts Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate, read and write basic instructions, schedules and signage A positive attitude is essential!
