THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Leader to build and own Prompt.io Inc.’s marketing function. This is an opportunity to shape our marketing strategy from the ground up and make a measurable impact on the company’s growth.

You will develop and execute strategies that expand our top-of-funnel pipeline and support revenue goals, leading efforts across brand awareness, positioning, messaging, demand generation, and digital marketing. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure marketing is aligned with broader business objectives and directly contributes to growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong marketing background and proven experience managing campaigns and promotional projects from concept through execution. Familiarity with the national political landscape is especially important, as our customers primarily operate in the political space. You should be able to translate that understanding into compelling positioning and messaging. We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, values close collaboration, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of measurable outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Help craft our messaging and value proposition(s) in ways that resonate with our target customers
• Own our event marketing strategy as a primary driver of pipeline and revenue, partnering with Sales and the events team
• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan that builds sales opportunities and brand awareness, with a clear line to revenue generation
• Manage the marketing budget and ensure strong ROI on marketing spend
• Set short- and long-term marketing goals to grow demand generation and top-of-funnel pipeline
• Monitor and iterate on all marketing campaigns based on performance
• Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
• Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and growth opportunities, and track competitor activity
• Educate customers on our platform and services
• Manage a team of marketing professionals across a range of responsibilities and deliverables
• Partner closely with the VP of Sales to identify marketing opportunities and more
• Some light travel to be expected

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5–7 years of experience in marketing, including experience managing a marketing team
• Demonstrated success designing and implementing marketing campaigns — you've taken a small budget and grown it into bigger results, earning increased investment along the way
• Solid knowledge of marketing automation, SEO, web analytics, and email marketing
• Familiarity with the U.S. political landscape and the ability to translate that understanding into messaging and positioning that resonates with a politically engaged customer base
• Demonstrated familiarity with SaaS products and business models, with the ability to translate complex software offerings into clear positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Proven experience leading event marketing as a core growth channel, with a track record of turning conferences, sponsorships, and hosted events into qualified pipeline and measurable revenue through close partnership with Sales.
• Comfortable giving honest, timely feedback to your team

• Strong sense of initiative, ownership, and accountability; biased toward action and unafraid to fail; comfortable in an ever-changing startup environment
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, and comfortable owning and improving existing ones
• Knowledge of HubSpot and Webflow

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
