Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist

Position Overview:
Complete Equipment Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable handling both financial and customer-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and account reconciliation
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts to ensure timely collections
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve billing issues and secure payments
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve cash flow
• Prepare regular reports on AR status, collections progress, and account trends
• Assist with credit evaluations and setting up new customer accounts
• Provide support in customer service and inside sales functions as needed, including handling inquiries and assisting with orders

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• General technological competency, including the ability to quickly learn and effectively use business systems and tools
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor
