Benefits Specialist

Bristol Bay Services, LLC is actively seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This team member will serve as an administrator for medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits for approximately 1700 employees. This position will work a hybrid home/office schedule requiring attendance multiple days per week in our Huntsville, AL office. Responsibilities Administer and maintain benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. Process enrollments, changes, and terminationsaccurately and in a timely manner. Serve as a liaison to resolve employee inquiries and disputes. Manage vendor relationshipswith insurance providers, HRIS systems, and benefits consultants. Serve as point of contact and provide recommendations for program renewals to include international coverage. Prepare and maintainbenefits reports, usage data, and compliance documentation. Reconcile monthly benefit billing and invoices. Coordinate open enrollmentto include conducting employee meetings and working with vendors on preparation and distribution of enrollment materials. This position may also perform HR Generalist duties as necessary. Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge ofemployee benefit programsand related laws. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication andcustomer serviceskills. Analytical andorganizational abilitiesto manage complex data and processes. Proficiency inHRIS systemsand benefits administration software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Experience: 2-5 years in benefits administration or HR Generalist experience with a focus on benefits. Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS, or GBA preferred.
