Family Office Accountant

Accountant - Family Office / Investment Management Single Family Office is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support accounting, tax, and reporting functions across a multi-entity environment. This is a highly execution-focused role with exposure to investment activity, tax processes, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: Support recurring accounting deliverables, including data gathering and preparation of schedules Maintain and review weekly tax lot schedules; ensure alignment with custodial data Assist with reconciliations across accounting records, custodians, and internal tracking files Prepare organized workpapers supporting management and tax reporting Track and maintain distribution schedules and related reporting Provide backup support for recurring reports and daily trading recap data Assist with quarterly tax projections and supporting data Maintain tax calendars and track filing deadlines Prepare support schedules for federal, state, and local filings Coordinate with external tax advisors and respond to information requests Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1-4 years of accounting, fund accounting, or investment accounting experience Proficiency in Excel Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar GL systems Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines Proactive and organized Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Preferred: Experience in a family office or investment management environment Exposure to tax lot accounting and custodial reporting Experience working across multiple entities #J-18808-Ljbffr The Quest Organization
