Human Resources GeneralistBaldwin & Shell Construction Company is searching for a Human Resources Generalist who will thrive in our HR team.The Human Resources Generalist will perform a variety of day-to-day tasks to support the Human Resources department, including employee benefit administration, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, and HR information systems (HRIS).Responsibilities:Administer the company's employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits.Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and enrollment support.Coordinate new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual Open Enrollment.Leads new employee orientation and onboarding by providing an overview of employee benefits and enrollment instructions.Manage leave requests under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), short-term and long-term disability plans.Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training sessions, surveys, etc.).Assist in the development of training content and materials.Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.Provide support during recruitment activities such as job fairs and career events.Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.Process employee status changes including hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the department.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Have at least four (4) years of experience in Human Resources.Have at least two (2) years of experience in employee benefits administration.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Must possess strong documentation, organizational and time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.Preferred Qualifications:BambooHR software experience preferred but not required.What we offer:Award-winning cultureHighly competitive compensation401(k) retirement with matching fundsHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance8 Paid holidaysVacation accrualShort-term disabilityLong-term disabilityMaternity and Paternity LeavePet insuranceFree and confidential Employee Assistance ProgramExcellent work environmentBaldwin & Shell is proud to offer highly competitive compensation, benefits package, and a great work environment!If you think you would thrive in this position, please apply with us today!For more information or questions, please reach out to our Human Resources Team:Email: View email address on click.appcast.io ATTN: HRPhone: 501-374-8677Baldwin & Shell is a drug-free workplace and an E-Verify participant.Baldwin & Shell is proud to be a part of an Equal Opportunity Employer to include women, minorities, veterans, persons with disabilities, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, origin, and genetic information.
