Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy; advanced degrees welcomed
• Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to develop and adapt therapeutic techniques to suit diverse learning needs
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professional ethics at all times

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs and develop effective treatment plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services to help students achieve academic and functional goals
• Monitor and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions
• Educate staff and families on best practices for carrying over strategies into daily routines
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
