POSITION SUMMARY:

Postal Clerk performs basic office services which may include but are not limited to performing mail room duties and copy/printing.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITY:

• Handling, sorting, receiving, shipping, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.


• Collect outgoing mail, does the weighing and stamping, and delivers


• Handle shipping and receiving materials and goods.

• Operate machinery in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.

• Maintain relationships with all office equipment vendors and may manage all service requests and agreements for photocopying, postage, binding, fax, and related equipment.

• Handle stockroom duties include ordering, maintaining, and issuing supplies in accordance with prescribed procedures and maintaining record of inventory and incoming packages.

• Operate Neopost machine and POS equipment in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.


• Daily cash drawer reconciliation and verification of all accounting procedures.

• Daily and consistent strong customer service skills and teamwork attitude.


• Accurate management of internal resident moves, mail holds, and forwards.


• Ability to operate a vehicle to pick up and deliver mail from/to USPS Scottsdale location.


• Remain current with all USPS, FedEx, UPS, Amazon operations and rate changes.


• Must be able to deliver mail to a few resident apartments daily.

• Participate and cross train as a part off the concierge services team.

• Must be reliable and take full responsibility for the operation of the post office.

• Good organization and communication skills


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience preferred

• High School diploma preferred

• Clean driving record to operate Westminster Village vehicle.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

• May be required to sit or stand for prolong period

• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.

Shift times : Monday-Friday 7:30am-3pm

Saturday 8am-2:30pm

• Required to work 5 shifts per week
• Required to work every other Saturday shift.
