Miami - Florida - United States of America Orlando - Florida - United States of America Tampa - Florida - United States of America Position Location This role supports the Miramar, Winter Park, and Tampa branch locations, serving customers throughout the greater Miami, Orlando, and Tampa areas. Position Summary The Area Sales Manager – Security Systems is responsible for promoting Siemens’ strong market position in delivering smart building technology for Security Solutions (new construction) and Service (end‑user). The manager leads a team that transforms buildings to be digitally connected and controlled, hires and develops top talent, and drives business growth in the specified region. Responsibilities Achieve order intake volume and profit goals for the Miami, Orlando, and Jacksonville, FL area. Recruit and onboard new sales talent to fill open positions. Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and geographic areas. Serve as a resource to sales employees regarding products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation. Communicate goals, provide mentoring, lead employee performance, conduct performance appraisals, and coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs and identify buying priorities. Review bids to ensure accuracy, assist employees with margins and resources, and assess future business opportunities. Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to share knowledge, develop sales forecasts, and provide input to sales targets. Assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities and develop strategies to improve impact on the company. Articulate and drive digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics; maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions. Travel overnight approximately 25% of the time for training and business development. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or state‑recognized GED. 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record within a similar industry. Technical proficiency in commercial integrated security/commercial building infrastructure security industry. Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategies. Working knowledge of contracting business with tiers of contractors. Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience with Microsoft Office suite. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering. Management experience in the construction industry. Proficiency with Salesforce CRM. Salary & Benefits The pay range for this position is $102,000 – $175,000 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual salary offered may vary based on budget, experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
