Generative AI Engineer - Victoria

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 2 years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or integrating complex systems.
• We look for a proven track record of building and maintaining production-ready software with clear modular boundaries, such as separate services for parsing, processing logic, and reporting.
• We need strong proficiency in at least two major programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java, along with experience using SQL databases.
• We prefer hands-on experience developing in live, non-mocked environments and managing multi-step system interactions.
• We value exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver concise, high-signal technical feedback on intricate system behavior.
• Bonus: experience designing multi-stage coordination workflows where data gathering leads to thoughtful outputs.
• Bonus: experience connecting agents with live tools such as Supabase, Gmail, and other APIs to solve practical problems.
• Bonus: comfort implementing persistent state and session tracking using MEMORY.md to monitor agent progress.
• Bonus: familiarity with detecting subtle issues such as privacy exposure, authority escalation, or indirect prompt injection.
